Role Description

Purpose of the Role:

Lead Production Engineering initiatives by driving Lean Manufacturing and Toyota Production System (TPS) principles to improve operational efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost. The role will also support Greenfield project execution, plant setup, and continuous improvement initiatives for a leading OEM manufacturing organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Production Engineering activities using Toyota Production System (TPS) principles.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including JIT, Jidoka, Kaizen, and continuous improvement.
- Review KPIs and implement daily management practices.
- Lead Greenfield project execution, plant layout planning, and CAD layout reviews.
- Optimize manpower, material flow, inventory, and production resources.
- Implement Lean tools such as Kanban, Karakuri, Poka-Yoke, Renketu, Binbiki, and Combination.
- Execute cost reduction, productivity improvement, and digitalization projects.
- Eliminate Muda, Mura, and Muri across manufacturing operations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve operational and business objectives.

Experience

- Total Experience Required: Diploma (DME): Minimum 15 Years | B.E./B.Tech: Minimum 13 Years

Relevant Experience: Extensive experience in Lean Manufacturing, Toyota Production System (TPS), and Greenfield Manufacturing Projects within an OEM automotive manufacturing environment.

Additional Requirements

- OEM Automotive Manufacturing experience is Mandatory.
- Greenfield Project experience is Mandatory.
- Proven expertise in Toyota Production System (TPS) and Lean Manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of Kanban, JIT, Jidoka, and Lean implementation.
- Experience in production engineering, plant setup, and operational excellence.
