Profile- Product Manager, Trade Management Location: Nariman Point, Mumbai Experience: 4-7 yrs About The Role DealerPad is a trade management platform for bullion dealers. It covers the full lifecycle of a trade, from deal capture and inventory management to hedging, approval workflows, and end-of-day reporting. Think of it as the single system a bullion trading desk runs on, replacing the patchwork of spreadsheets, WhatsApp messages, and manual processes they use today.

We need a Product Manager who will own DealerPad completely. That means sitting with traders, watching how they buy and sell gold and silver, understanding when and why they hedge, learning what approvals matter and which ones are just bureaucratic friction, and turning all of that into a product that feels purpose-built rather than a glorified Excel sheet.

Key Responsibilities

- Spend regular time with bullion traders and operations staff to deeply understand how they work: deal entry, pricing, inventory decisions, hedging timing, approval chains, and EOD reconciliation
- Own the full product vision and roadmap for DealerPad. Decide what gets built,



in what order, and why
- Build and configure DealerPad on FinLego by designing workflows, screens, approval chains, and reports that feel like a polished product rather than a low-code prototype
- Design intuitive workflows for deal capture, inventory tracking, and hedging that reflect how traders actually think and work, not how a database would organize the same information
- Define and refine the approval and notification system so the right people are alerted at the right time without creating noise
- Identify gaps in FinLego and work with the engineering team to get new platform capabilities built. You are the bridge between what users need and what the platform can do
- Write transparent product requirements, both for application-level features you’ll build yourself and for platform-level capabilities you need from engineering
- Spot places where the product is forcing users into unnecessary steps, redundant data entry, or confusing interfaces, and fix them
- Define what success looks like for DealerPad through usage patterns, user feedback, and operational efficiency metrics

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 4 to 7 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or operations within financial services, ideally in trading, commodities, or broking




- Understanding of how a trading desk operates. You know what a deal lifecycle looks like, why hedging matters, and what happens between a trade being struck and it showing up in the books
- Strong product instincts. When a user says ‘I need 15 columns,’ you ask ‘what decision are you making?’ and design something better
- Willingness to be in the field. You’d rather spend a day at a trading desk watching someone work than sit in an office writing user stories from assumptions
- Comfortable building on platforms, not just specifying requirements. You’ve worked with configurable or low-code systems and can design and implement solutions yourself, not just write documents for someone else to build
- Clear communication. You can explain a trader’s workflow to an engineer and a technical constraint to a trader, without either feeling talked down to

Good to Have

- Direct experience with bullion or commodity markets
- Familiarity with Network Protocols associated with exchanges
- Experience working with or building on low-code / configurable platforms
- Background in fintech product management or trading technology
