About LifeLoop LifeLoop is an AI life agent — it plans your day, chats with you about it, phones you when you don't reply, and remembers your life, health included. We're small and early, which means one intern owns a real surface of the product rather than a ticket queue behind three layers of review. This is a hands-on building role You will write code and ship it to real users.
This is not a product-management or research internship — you are here to develop features end to end. You'd take a piece of LifeLoop from rough idea to something people are actually using: work out what it should do, design the flow, build it, put it in front of real users, and decide what happens next based on what you saw.
The stack: Flutter on the front, Python (FastAPI) and Postgres behind, LLM tooling in the middle. You won't know all three on day one — nobody does. Things you could own • How the AI opens a conversation — what it asks, when it interrupts, when it shuts up
- The escalation ladder: notification to message to phone call to emergency contact, and getting the thresholds right
- The daily plan: how it's built, and how it rebuilds itself when the day falls apart
- Logging that takes seconds — habits, medication, symptoms — because anything slower doesn't get used
- Onboarding:
the first ten minutes that decide whether someone ever comes back What the work actually looks like • Writing down what you're building and why, before you build it
- Building it — real code, merged and shipped, not prototypes in a folder
- Watching real people use it, including the parts where they get confused
- Being honest about what didn't work, and saying so early A good fit if • You've built and shipped something, anything — a side project you can explain beats a certificate
- You can write code and you can write sentences. Both matter here
- You have opinions about products and can say why, not just what
- You're comfortable being early, where the answer often doesn't exist yet You do not need • A previous internship, or a particular degree
- To already know Flutter, FastAPI or LLM tooling — you need to be someone who picks things up fast The details • Fully remote
- You must have your own laptop and a reliable internet connection
- Duration: 3–6 months
- Full time
- Stipend discussed on the first call How to apply Email
[email protected] with the subject "Product development intern". Link anything you've built — repo, app, writeup. A half-finished project you can explain beats a polished one you can't. Then name one thing on lifeloop.in you think we've got wrong — that counts for more than a CV.
After that: a thirty-minute conversation, a small paid task from the real backlog, and a start date.
