Aydis Labs Private Limited is a nutraceutical and Ayurvedic third-party manufacturing company serving startups, brands, doctors, and businesses looking to develop and manufacture their own products.

We are looking for an experienced Product Costing & Formulation Executive who can evaluate product compositions received from clients and prepare accurate manufacturing cost estimates.

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of nutraceutical/Ayurvedic formulations, raw materials, dosage forms, ingredient quantities, packaging, and manufacturing costs.

Key Responsibilities

- Review product compositions and client requirements.
- Understand formulations for capsules, tablets, powders, syrups, sachets, oils and other nutraceutical/Ayurvedic dosage forms.
- Calculate the approximate requirement and cost of each raw material/ingredient.
- Prepare accurate product costing and quotations based on formulation and client requirements.
- Calculate costs for different batch sizes and quantities.
- Consider raw material prices, overages, processing/manufacturing costs, packaging, testing, labour and other applicable costs.
- Evaluate whether a requested formulation is commercially and technically feasible.
- Suggest suitable alternative ingredients or formulations when required to achieve a target cost.
- Coordinate with the R&D;, Production, Purchase and Sales teams to finalize product costing.
- Prepare costing sheets and maintain updated raw-material and packaging cost data.
- Handle multiple product costing requests received from clients on a daily basis.
- Support the sales team with technical and costing information for client quotations.




- Review and update costing whenever raw material or packaging prices change.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant experience in nutraceutical, Ayurvedic, pharmaceutical, food supplement, or related manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of nutraceutical and Ayurvedic formulations.
- Practical knowledge of raw materials, active ingredients, excipients and their applications.
- Good understanding of capsules, tablets, powders, syrups, sachets and other common dosage forms.
- Ability to understand a composition and determine its approximate manufacturing cost.
- Experience in product costing, formulation costing or product development.
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel and preparation of costing sheets.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple costing requests within tight deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

What We Are Looking For

We are specifically looking for someone who can look at a client's product composition, understand how the product can be manufactured, calculate the ingredient and manufacturing costs, and prepare a practical and commercially viable quotation.

This is not purely an accounting or finance role. Candidates must have practical knowledge of formulation and manufacturing.
