Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to manage the organization's purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, procuring goods and services, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring timely availability of materials while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery, and reliability.

- Obtain quotations, compare bids, and negotiate favorable pricing and contract terms.

- Create and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).

- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse and supply chain teams to prevent stock shortages.

- Develop and maintain robust relationships with vendors and identify new sourcing opportunities.

- Track order status and resolve procurement-related issues, delays, or discrepancies.

- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

- Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.





- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation.

- Coordinate with Finance for invoice verification and payment processing.

- Support strategic sourcing initiatives and continuous process improvement projects.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in a related field.

- 2-5 years of procurement or purchasing experience in a supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or related industry.

- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, ERPNext, or similar).

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple procurement activities while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of sourcing strategies and supplier evaluation techniques.

- Understanding of inventory management and supply chain operations.

- Experience with contract management and purchase order processing.

- Cost analysis and budgeting skills.

- Strong documentation and reporting abilities.
