Role Description The Procurement Specialist is a full-time hybrid role based in Vadodara, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, including raising and tracking purchase orders, coordinating with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

The Procurement

Specialist will evaluate suppliers, maintain vendor relationships, and support contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and high-quality performance. Day-to-day activities include analyzing procurement data, monitoring compliance with company policies, optimizing costs,



and contributing to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency. The role collaborates closely with finance, operations, and other teams to ensure accurate documentation, risk management, and alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Procurement skills, including understanding of end-to-end purchasing processes and vendor management.
- Candidates should possess experience with Purchase Orders, including creation, tracking, reconciliation, and adherence to procurement policies.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Supplier Evaluation, including assessing quality, reliability, pricing, and compliance with service-level expectations.
- Candidates should possess Contract Negotiation skills, including the ability to secure favorable terms, manage contract risks, and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, including data analysis, cost optimization, and use of metrics to inform procurement decisions.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field are beneficial.
- Experience with procurement software or ERP systems, robust Excel skills, and familiarity with contract and compliance frameworks are advantageous.
- Attention to detail, effective communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment are essential.
