Role & responsibilities

- Manage sourcing and procurement of electro-mechanical components such as sheet metal, castings, machined parts, plastics, enclosures, fabricated items, PCBs, and electronic components.
- Develop sourcing strategies focused on cost, quality, delivery, and supply continuity.
- Drive supplier identification, evaluation, onboarding, and performance improvement.
- Lead localization initiatives and supplier development programs.
- Execute cost reduction projects through negotiations, alternate sourcing, VA/VE, and should-cost analysis.
- Support NPI/NPD projects by ensuring supplier readiness and timely procurement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Management.
- Ensure supplier compliance with quality, sustainability, and ethical sourcing standards.

Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's degree in Mechanical,



Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (MBA preferred).

- 715 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier development within electrical, industrial, or manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, casting, fabrication, plastics, and sheet metal.
- Experience in localization, cost optimization, supplier negotiations, and supplier development.
- Valuable understanding of SAP/ERP systems, cost modeling, engineering drawings, GD&T;, PPAP, and APQP.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to drive productivity, cost savings, and supply chain excellence.
