Role Title: Custody Process Improvement Specialist

Job Overview:

Go to expert on process and regulatory nuances, and the first responder for escalations or high-pressure demands, backed by 10+ years working primarily with FPI / FDI clients and ownership of process improvement across Custody functions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Act as the go-to expert on process and regulatory nuances across custody operations.
- Own escalations — step in quick to resolve issues and manage high-pressure demands from clients or stakeholders.
- Bring deep, applied expertise in FPI / FDI regulations and related products; be the final word on these topics.
- Spot process gaps and lead improvement initiatives that make operations simpler, faster and more accurate.
- Build robust controls to keep client transactions, holdings and reporting fully compliant with FPI / FDI norms.
- Partner with Clients, Compliance, Regulators and Product to design and refine processes.




- Track regulatory and industry changes continuously; embed updates into process and systems ahead of time.
- Own the audit relationship for custody operations and product processes — zero adverse findings is the standard.
- Enforce internal controls and escalate deviations without delay.

Functional Skills:

- Deep expertise in FPI / FDI regulations and related products — go-to authority within the team.
- Sharp ability to diagnose process and regulatory nuances and resolve escalations fast.
- Strong process improvement mindset with a proven track record of driving change.
- Sharp accuracy, attention to detail and strong communication under pressure.

Education: Graduate in Finance, Accounts, Banking / MBA Finance Experience: 10 – 15 years
