Probationary Officers (PO) and Management Trainees (MT) are recruited every year through a Common Written Examination (CWE), commonly known as the IBPS PO exam. The CWE was started in 2011 and is being conducted for the 10th time this year and hence is officially called IBPS PO /MT CWE X 2020. Eligibility Criteria

IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2020 Graduation Degree: The eligibility criteria for the IBPS CWE exam is as basic as a graduation degree (BA, BCom, BSc, B.Tech or as such) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India. Any such candidate who has received equivalent qualification which is recognized by the Central Government is also eligible to apply for this exam.

The candidates must be in possession of a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that certifies that they are a graduate on the day they register for this exam and must indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering for the IBPS Bank-PO examination.

Age Eligibility of candidates applying for IBPS Bank PO Examination (As on 01.08.2020):

Any candidate who is applying for the IBPS CWE examination should not be less than 20 years old and not more than 30 years old at the time of registration. In addition to this, there is age relaxation applicable to category wise candidates as per the government rules:

- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST)
- Other Backward Classes (OBC Non-Creamy Layer)
- Persons with Disabilities (PWD)
- Ex-Servicemen (Army personnel)
- Persons with Domicile of Jammu Kashmir during the period of to

IBPS PO 2020 Vacancy

More than 20 lakh aspirants appear for the IBPS Bank PO examination every year. IBPS has introduced 1417 vacancies for IBPS PO 2020-21 Exam along with its official notification. Last year, the total number of vacancies was 4336.

Application Process

Essential Academic Qualifications (As on 01.01.2020) Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 01.01.2020. Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 01.01.2020. Pre-requisites for Applying Online: Candidates should have valid email ID mobile no. which should be kept active till the declaration of results. It will help him/ her in getting call letter/ advices etc. by email/ SMS.

a. Candidates should first scan their photograph and signature as detailed under guidelines for scanning the photograph and signature (Annexure-II).

c. Fill the application carefully. Once the application is filled in completely, candidates should submit the data. In the event of candidates not being able to fill the data in one go, they can save the data already entered.

When the data is saved, a provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidates should note down the registration number and password. They can re-open the saved data using registration number and password and edit the particulars, if needed.

This facility will be available three times only. Once the application is filled in completely, candidates should submit the data. No change/edit will be allowed thereafter. The registration at this stage is provisional.

d. After ensuring the correctness of the particulars of the application form, candidates are required to pay fees through the payment gateway integrated with the application, following the instructions.
