Econ Climate Fund About the Role We are building a pioneering private equity platform dedicated to combating climate change across Asia. Our mandate is to deploy capital into sectors fundamental to a net-zero future: energy transition, e-mobility, sustainable agriculture, circular economy, and environmental infrastructure. We are seeking a Capital Formation & ESG Analyst to support our fundraising efforts, investor relations, and ESG strategy.

This role will be central in building and managing relationships with Limited Partners (LPs), preparing fund materials, driving ESG integration across the fund, and supporting our overall capital-raising strategy. This is a full time on-site role in Gurgaon (3 days a week in office), offered initially as a contractual position with monthly compensation. Based on performance, it can transition into full-time employment.

Expected Duration: 6–12 months (extendable) Job Responsibilities Fundraising & Investor Relations 1. Conduct in-depth research on global LPs, support investor segmentation, and contribute to a strategic outreach pipeline.

- Prepare sophisticated fundraising materials, including investor presentations, teasers, DDQs, and curated data room documentation.
- Maintain a disciplined CRM process, track all investor interactions, and coordinate meetings and follow-ups with a high degree of professionalism.
- Develop polished, well-structured communication and information packages tailored for prospective LPs. ESG & Impact 1. Assist with ESG and impact due-diligence during investment evaluations.




- Support portfolio companies with ESG data collection and reporting.
- Monitor global ESG frameworks and ensure alignment with the fund’s standards.

Requirements 1. Interest in Climate, Impact & Fundraising: Passion for climate finance, sustainability, ESG, and capital mobilization for high-impact sectors. 2.

Excellent

Research, Writing & Communication Skills: Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly through presentations, memos, LP communication, and structured decks. 3.

Analytical & Organizational Strengths: Comfort with data, investor mapping, ESG metrics, and creating structured documentation for LPs. 4.

Relationship Mindset: Ability to engage with global investors professionally, maintain communication trails, and support high-touch fundraising processes. 5.

Eagerness to Learn: Proactive attitude, ownership mindset, and willingness to support both capital formation and ESG work streams.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Background in finance, economics, sustainability, climate studies, or related fields preferred.
