Bachelors or Master’s degree in Engineering with 15+ years of experience in the telecom/optical industry.

- Thorough understanding of optical standards related to DWDM and line systems.

- Strong experience in optical technologies and optical line systems, including DWDM, ROADM, amplifiers, Raman, OTDR, DGE, etc.

- Prior experience in the architecture and design of optical/telecom embedded systems.

- Excellent hands-on experience with operating systems, object-oriented design, and C++.

- Role involves defining detailed software requirements and system/software architecture, working closely with software architects and designers, based on high-level product requirements for Nokia’s next-generation Optical Line System.

- Excellent communication skills required.

- Highly desirable to have the ability or prior experience as a Product Owner (PO) in Scrum teams.

- Highly desirable to have a solid understanding of Agile Scrum and AI.
