Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the overall academic and administrative functions of the Nursing Academy.

- Ensure compliance with Indian Nursing Council (INC), State Nursing Council, and university regulations.

- Supervise faculty recruitment, performance, and professional development.

- Plan, implement, and monitor academic programs, curriculum, and student outcomes.

- Promote research, innovation, and quality improvement initiatives.

- Oversee accreditation, inspections, and regulatory documentation.

- Develop strategic plans to enhance academic standards and institutional growth.

- Foster a positive learning setting for students and faculty.

- Coordinate with university authorities, healthcare institutions, and other stakeholders.

Eligibility Criteria

- Qualification:

M.Sc. Nursing (

Mandatory

)

- Experience:

Minimum

15 years of experience in Nursing Education.

- At least

5 years in an administrative leadership role such as

Principal or

Vice Principal in a Nursing College.

- Ph.D. in Nursing is preferred

.

- Candidates affiliated with or experienced under

Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS)

will be preferred.
