Role Description The President will provide strategic leadership and overall direction for TEMA Manufacturing and Trading L.T.D / EGYPT, ensuring alignment with the parent company’s vision and growth objectives. This full-time, on-site role based in Chennai involves overseeing all business functions, including manufacturing operations, trading activities, financial performance, and market expansion.

The President will set organizational goals, manage senior leadership teams, and ensure production quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery across product lines such as knitting, weaving, denim, outerwear, and underwear. The role includes building and maintaining key partnerships, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with regulatory, safety, and ethical standards.



The President will also foster a high-performance, inclusive culture, mentor leaders, and represent the company in high-level internal and external engagements.

Qualifications

- Proven executive leadership experience in manufacturing, textiles, apparel, or a closely related industry, with responsibility for multi-site or large-scale operations.
- Strong strategic planning, business development, and financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L; accountability.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive operational excellence, and implement process improvements in production and supply chain.
- Experience managing relationships with key stakeholders, such as suppliers, customers, regulatory bodies, and parent company leadership.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams toward common goals.
- Track record of promoting inclusive, non-discriminatory, and safe workplace practices, with solid commitment to ethical and sustainable operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai and collaborate effectively with international teams and corporate headquarters.
