Job Title: Senior Power BI Developer

Experience: 8–10 Years

Location: Jaipur (On-site)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Power BI Developer with 8–10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, data visualization, and analytics. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI , enterprise data modelling, and hands-on experience working with AWS Cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Gather business requirements and convert them into effective BI solutions.
- Develop complex DAX calculations, data models, KPIs, and visualizations.
- Perform data integration, transformation, and cleansing using Power Query.
- Work with SQL databases and large datasets for reporting and analytics.
- Optimize Power BI reports and semantic models for performance.
- Deploy and manage BI solutions across Development, UAT, and Production environments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data teams, and technical teams.
- Integrate and work with data sources hosted on AWS Cloud.
- Ensure data accuracy, security, governance, and compliance across BI solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and establish Power BI development best practices.

Required Skills
- 8–10 years of experience in Power BI and Business Intelligence.
- Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop , Power BI Service , Power BI Report Server , Power BI Mobile , and enterprise deployment.
- Strong knowledge of DAX , including advanced measures, calculated columns, calculated tables, time intelligence, iterator functions, variables, ranking, and optimization techniques.
- Expertise in Power Query (M Language) for data extraction, cleansing, transformation,



and automation.
- Strong experience in Dimensional Data Modelling , including Star Schema , Snowflake Schema , Fact & Dimension design, surrogate keys, and normalization/denormalization techniques.
- Experience building Enterprise Semantic Models (Tabular Models) and reusable datasets.
- Expertise in creating interactive dashboards , drill-through reports, drill-down hierarchies, bookmarks, tooltips, KPI scorecards, and custom visuals.
- Robust knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS) , Object-Level Security (OLS) , workspace security, and data governance.
- Experience with Composite Models , DirectQuery , Import Mode , Live Connection , Hybrid Tables , and Incremental Refresh .
- Strong understanding of Power BI Gateway , scheduled refresh, on-premises connectivity, and cloud data refresh architecture.
- Experience optimizing report performance using Performance Analyzer , DAX Studio , VertiPaq Analyzer , and query optimization techniques.
- Strong SQL knowledge with hands-on experience in PostgreSQL , SQL Server , Oracle , MySQL , or Amazon RDS .
- Experience with ETL/ELT , data integration, and enterprise data warehousing concepts.
- Hands-on experience integrating Power BI with REST APIs, JSON, XML, CSV, Excel, SharePoint, Microsoft Fabric, and enterprise applications.




- Experience working with AWS Cloud services and cloud-hosted databases.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, business analysis, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric , OneLake , Dataflows Gen2 , and Lakehouse architecture.
- Experience with Azure Analysis Services (AAS) or SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS Tabular) .
- Knowledge of Power BI Deployment Pipelines , workspace lifecycle management, and CI/CD implementation.
- Experience with XMLA Endpoints , Tabular Editor, ALM Toolkit, and Power BI REST APIs.
- Experience embedding Power BI reports into enterprise web applications using Power BI Embedded .
- Experience with Paginated Reports (Power BI Report Builder) for operational reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Power Automate , Power Apps , and Microsoft Power Platform integration.
- Experience integrating with AWS services such as Amazon S3 , Amazon Redshift , Amazon RDS , Amazon Athena , AWS Glue , AWS Lambda , CloudWatch , and IAM .
- Understanding of enterprise BI architecture, metadata management, data governance, and master data management (MDM).
- Experience with Git-based source control, DevOps pipelines, and automated deployment of Power BI assets.
- Knowledge of enterprise authentication mechanisms including Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) , OAuth 2.1, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Experience implementing enterprise-scale BI solutions with large datasets and high user concurrency.
- Experience leading BI teams, performing code reviews, defining development standards, and mentoring junior Power BI developers.
