We are seeking a strategic and creative Manager, Communications and Public Relations to lead our communications strategy and elevate our public presence. Based in our East Melbourne office, this full time leadership role offers the chance to shape the voice and identity of Mercy Education across multiple platforms and audiences.
The successful candidate will oversee brand management, media engagement, and strategic communications planning. Working closely with the CEO and a broad network of stakeholders, the Manager, Communications and Public Relations will have a key role in strengthening Mercy Education’s reputation, building connections and leading impactful values-aligned communications across the organisation.
This is a five-year appointment with a six-month probation period.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy and annual work plan
- Manage Mercy Education’s brand, visual identity, and digital presence
- Oversee publication of materials including annual reports
- Lead media engagement and manage inquiries
- Provide strategic advice and media training to senior leaders
