Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Plant 3D Designer with hands-on experience in Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D to develop intelligent 3D plant models and detailed engineering drawings for industrial projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in piping layouts, equipment modeling, and plant design standards, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop intelligent 3D plant models using AutoCAD Plant 3D.
- Prepare piping layouts, equipment layouts, and plant arrangement drawings.
- Create piping isometrics, orthographic drawings, and general arrangement (GA) drawings.
- Generate and maintain P&IDs; using Plant 3D.
- Prepare piping specifications, line lists, and material take-offs (MTO/BOM).
- Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil, structural, and electrical disciplines.
- Perform clash detection and resolve model interferences.
- Ensure models comply with project specifications,



industry codes, and client standards.
- Update drawings and models based on engineering revisions.
- Support project teams throughout design, review, and construction phases.

Required Skills

- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D.
- Positive knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Experience in piping design, routing, and equipment modeling.
- Understanding of P&IDs;, piping components, valves, and instrumentation.
- Knowledge of ASME, ANSI, ISO, and other relevant plant design standards.
- Experience in preparing isometric drawings and BOM/MTO reports.
- Familiarity with clash detection and model coordination.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Power, Water Treatment, Chemical, or Industrial Plant projects.
- Knowledge of Navisworks, Revit, or other Autodesk products is an added advantage.
