Planning & Billing Engineer – Civil Construction

Location: Bangalore & Hosur, Karnataka

Experience: 10+ Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Language: Kannada is mandatory

We are looking for an experienced Planning & Billing Engineer to manage project planning, progress monitoring, quantity measurement, client billing, subcontractor billing, and cost/control activities for civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain project schedules, work programs, and progress plans.
- Monitor actual project progress against planned schedules and identify delays.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Prepare and verify client RA bills, subcontractor bills, and measurement sheets.
- Verify quantities from drawings, BOQs, site measurements, and executed works.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, quantity surveyors, consultants, and clients.
- Track material consumption, quantities, productivity, and project costs.
- Assist in BOQ preparation, rate analysis, quantity estimation, and variation claims.
- Maintain proper documentation of measurements, bills, approvals, and project records.
- Identify delays, quantity variations, and cost deviations and report them to management.




- Coordinate with the site team to ensure work is executed according to the approved schedule and BOQ.
- Support project forecasting, cash-flow planning, and cost control.

Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in civil construction planning and billing.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity estimation, measurements, RA billing, subcontractor billing, and rate analysis.
- Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and construction planning/billing software; MS Project/Primavera P6 knowledge is an advantage.
- Robust coordination, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Kannada language proficiency is mandatory.
- Candidates should be willing to work in Bangalore and/or Hosur.
