Key Responsibilities
Define enterprise application delivery strategy using F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM/DNS, WAF, APM)
Drive data center modernization with L4–L7 service insertion models
Establish reference architectures for load balancing, SSL offload, and application security
Own and approve:
HLD / LLD for F5 deployments o High availability (Active/Active / Active/Standby) architectures o Traffic engineering and capacity design
Lead design authority reviews and governance processes
Ensure alignment with enterprise security and network architecture
Lead end-to-end delivery:
Requirements → Design → Build → Migration → Hypercare
Manage multi-vendor ecosystem (F5, security, cloud, infra teams)
Ensure delivery aligned to SLA/KPI and transformation objectives
Architect and oversee:
F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM/DNS, ASM/WAF, APM, AFM) o SSL offloading, TLS lifecycle, and certificate management o Load balancing (L4/L7), persistence, health monitoring
Define and implement:
iRules, iApps, AS3/DO for automation o High availability and failover strategies
Integrate F5 with:
Data center fabrics (EVPN/VXLAN) o Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM/SOAR o Identity systems (AD/LDAP) and PKI
Define automation strategy using:
Ansible, Python, REST APIs (F5 programmability)
