About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Controller to oversee accounting and financial operations for US-based businesses. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader who has managed the complete accounting cycle, led month-end close processes, prepared financial statements, and partnered with senior stakeholders to improve financial performance.
The successful candidate will combine strong technical accounting expertise with operational ownership, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple entities or clients independently.
Candidates with experience as Controllers, Assistant Controllers, Senior Accounting Managers, Finance Managers, or Accounting Leads supporting US businesses are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end accounting function for one or multiple US entities or clients.
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Prepare and review accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, prepayments,



and fixed assets.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and cash management.
Review balance-sheet reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are resolved accurately and on time.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, management reports, KPIs, budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow projections.
Maintain solid internal controls and ensure compliance with established accounting policies and procedures.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders during audits and statutory filings.
Support accounting process improvements, automation initiatives, and ERP implementations or migrations.
Review the work of junior accounting team members and provide coaching and guidance where required.
Partner with business leaders and clients to provide meaningful financial insights and recommendations.
