Position Details

To perform installation service, maintenance, startups, troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of refrigeration and HVAC systems. You will also be responsible for promoting the continued growth of the HVAC installation team to current and potential recent customers as a field representative of Refrigeration and HVAC.

A qualified candidate will possess a provincial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Red Seal and have or is working towards a Gas Fitter A or B license.

Responsibilities

Install, service and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration, air conditioning units and combined heating, ventilation & cooling systems, and repair residential heating and cooling systems
Troubleshoot onsite mechanical issues
Perform routine maintenance, service and warranty work
Interact with our customers
Follow safe work practices
Document work performed on service assignments
Other duties as required to meet customer/business needs

Qualifications

Possession of a valid class 5 driver’s license with a good abstract.
Own hand tools,



tool pouch and steel toe safety boots.
Ability to travel daily withing the service area, with some travel to the outer regions as necessary (Company vehicle provided).
Ability to work a flexible schedule, day and nights as required by the customer
Ability to work 8-hour shifts 5 days a week or 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week.
Physical requirements of the position include lifting, pushing and pulling up to 100lbs., standing, bending, crouching, reaching, climbing ladders, working at heights and in tight spaces.
The job is physically demanding and involves working on rooftops and with materials such as industrial glues, refrigerants and electrical components.

Benefits

Compensation Range: $45.00+ hourly.
