Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer – SolarWinds NMS (Subject Matter Expert) to lead the
design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise network monitoring solutions. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of SolarWinds NMS, including monitoring,
reporting, automation, integrations, and advanced analytics to ensure high availability and performance
of network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as SME for SolarWinds NMS (NPM, NCM, NetFlow Traffic Analyzer, NetPath).
• Design, configure, and maintain scalable monitoring solutions.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and perform RCA.
• Implement automation using APIs (REST/SWIS, PowerShell, Python).
• Integrate with ITSM tools for auto ticket creation and lifecycle management.




• Integrate with ISP ticketing systems for automated logging.
• Configure NetPath for end-to-end monitoring.
• Manage device backups and compliance using NCM.
• Analyze NetFlow traffic for capacity and anomaly detection.
Skills & Experience
• 6–10+ years in network monitoring.
• Robust SolarWinds expertise (NPM, NCM, NTA, NetPath).
• API integration and automation experience.
• Knowledge of SNMP, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF.
Preferred Qualifications
• SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP).
• Experience in enterprise environments.
