Role & Responsibilities

- Design, configure, and deploy Akeneo PIM solutions tailored to client business processes—catalog hierarchy, attribute modeling, family structures, and workflow automation.

- Integrate Akeneo with ERP, e-commerce platforms (Shopify Plus, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud), DAM, and marketplaces via REST APIs, message queues, and ETL pipelines.

- Lead discovery workshops to map client data models, define data governance rules, and identify enrichment & validation requirements for global teams.

- Develop custom connectors, PHP/JS extensions, and automation scripts (via Akeneo’s extension framework) to solve complex PIM challenges.

- Train client teams on Akeneo Admin UI, data import/export, publication workflows,



and role-based access controls.

- Document technical architecture, configuration decisions, and handover runbooks for client and internal teams.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

- Akeneo PIM (Enterprise Edition)

- REST API Integration

- PHP (Symfony Framework)

- MySQL / PostgreSQL

- ETL Processes

- Git Version Control

- Agile Methodology

- Product Data Modeling

Preferred

- Akeneo Certification (PCC or PCE)

- Magento or Shopify API Integrations

- Experience with DAM (Sitecore, Bynder, or Adobe AEM)
