About Us:

We are a reputable school committed to academic excellence and holistic student development. We seek a dedicated Physical Education Teacher to lead our sports program, inspire students, and develop competitive basketball and PE curriculum up to ISC level.

Eligibility:

B.P.Ed (Bachelor of Physical Education) – Mandatory

Relevant teaching/coaching experience preferred

Candidate should have a basketball background

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Passion for sports and student fitness

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Physical Education classes for primary through ISC (Class XII) levels.

Plan and deliver progressive basketball coaching for all age groups; prepare teams for local and inter-school competitions.

Design age-appropriate lesson plans, fitness programs, and assessment methods aligned with school and ISC requirements.

Monitor and evaluate student progress; maintain records and prepare term reports.

Organize sports events, training schedules, trials, and practice sessions.

Promote student safety, sportsmanship, discipline, and inclusivity during all activities.

Maintain and manage sports equipment and facility use; coordinate with administration for resources and scheduling.

Mentor and guide students for state/national-level trials where applicable.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or equivalent; Master’s preferred.

Minimum 5 years coaching experience specifically in basketball,



including coaching school-level teams.

Proven experience teaching Physical Education up to ISC level (Class XII).

Solid knowledge of basketball rules, techniques, tactics, coaching methodologies, and fitness training.

First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

Excellent communication skills, ability to motivate students, and good classroom management.

Valid coaching certifications (state/national) or sports federation accreditation is a plus.
