Pharmacy Attender

Key Responsibilities 1.

Medication Support

Assist pharmacists in dispensing medicines as per prescriptions. Pack, label, and organize medications accurately. Ensure correct medicines are handed over to patients under supervision. 2.

Inventory Management

Maintain proper stock levels and storage of medicines. Check expiry dates and remove expired or damaged stock. Assist in stock entry, stock audits, and inventory updates. 3.

Pharmacy Operations

Arrange medicines on shelves for effortless identification and access. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area. Support in receiving and verifying medicine supplies.

- Billing & Documentation Assist in pharmacy billing and data entry (if required).



Maintain records of issued medicines and stock movements. 5.

Patient Support

Guide patients regarding medicine collection and basic instructions (under pharmacist supervision). Ensure proper handling of prescriptions and patient queries.
- Compliance & Safety Follow hospital policies, pharmacy regulations, and infection control guidelines. Maintain confidentiality and protected handling of medications.

Qualifications &

Experience Diploma / Certificate in Pharmacy (D.Pharm preferred) or a relevant qualification. 0–2 years of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy is preferred. Freshers can also apply.
