Position Overview

Apollo Pharmacy is looking for dedicated, customer-focused, and responsible Pharmacy Assistants to support day-to-day pharmacy operations and deliver a seamless customer experience.

The Pharmacy Assistant will work closely with the Pharmacist and store team to support medicine dispensing activities, inventory management, billing, merchandising, customer service, and overall store operations while adhering to company, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Pharmacist in the accurate dispensing of prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines.
- Support customers with information on healthcare products and appropriately refer them to the Pharmacist for medication-related advice or clinical guidance.
- Handle billing, cash and digital transactions, and maintain accurate sales and transaction records.
- Arrange, organise, and replenish medicines and healthcare products on shelves in accordance with company standards.
- Monitor stock availability, expiry dates, batch details, and storage conditions to help maintain product quality and compliance.
- Assist with receiving, verifying, and storing incoming inventory and ensure products are appropriately placed.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, organisation, and proper merchandising of medicines and healthcare products within the pharmacy.




- Respond to customer queries courteously and professionally and contribute to a positive in-store experience.
- Follow all applicable operational, safety, quality, and regulatory procedures governing pharmacy operations.
- Support inventory counts, stock checks, and other store-level operational activities as required.
- Assist with promotional campaigns, health awareness programmes, health camps, and wellness initiatives conducted by the organisation.
- Coordinate effectively with Pharmacists and other store team members to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.

Eligibility Requirements
- 10+2 / Higher Secondary qualification from a recognised board.
- Diploma or certification in Pharmacy Assistance, Healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 3 years of relevant experience in retail pharmacy, healthcare, retail, or customer service may apply.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing retail or healthcare setting will be an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of medicines, healthcare products, and pharmacy operations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused approach with a strong service orientation.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with billing or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Good attention to detail, accuracy, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays based on business requirements.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
