:

- Dispense prescribed medicines accurately to OPD and IPD patients as per doctor’s orders.

- Review prescriptions for correctness, dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications.

- Maintain proper storage of medicines including cold chain items as per guidelines.

- Manage pharmacy inventory, stock levels, expiry dates, and indenting.

- Ensure compliance with Drug Control regulations, hospital pharmacy policies, and statutory requirements.

- Maintain accurate records for narcotic drugs, high-risk medicines, and controlled substances.

- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and precautions.

- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and stores for uninterrupted medicine availability.

- Support audits, inspections,



and documentation as per hospital and regulatory standards.

- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and infection control within the pharmacy area.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations

- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing

- Valuable communication and patient-counseling skills

- Basic computer skills for billing and inventory systems
