Role Description This is a full time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Haripad. The Pharmacist will dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Daily responsibilities include verifying prescriptions, reviewing patient medication histories, providing counseling on proper use and potential side effects, and offering guidance on general health and wellness. The role involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals, maintaining inventory and storage conditions, and keeping precise records of prescriptions and controlled substances.



The Pharmacist will also contribute to a positive customer experience by answering questions, resolving issues, and supporting the efficient operation of the pharmacy.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and therapeutic guidelines.
- Proficiency in prescription verification, medication dispensing, and maintaining accurate pharmacy records.
- Ability to provide clear patient counseling, education on medication use, and general health advice.
- Familiarity with pharmacy management systems, POS software, and basic computer applications.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to patient safety and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with healthcare teams and serve diverse patients.
- Registered Pharmacist license in accordance with local regulations and completion of a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or equivalent degree.
- Prior retail or community pharmacy experience is preferred; experience in a modern retail pharmacy environment is an advantage.
