NAbout the Role:

NEkya Schools is seeking apassionate and experienced PGT Psychology Teacher who can

Neffectively teach senior secondary students while also supporting the school's counselling

Ninitiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise, excellent communication

Nskills, and prior experience teaching the IB or IGCSE curriculum.

NKey Responsibilities:

N● Teach Psychology to Senior Secondary students (Grades 11 & 12) following the IB or

NIGCSE curriculum.

n● Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, student-centric lessons.

N● Assess student progressthrough assignments, projects, examinations, and continuous

Nevaluation.

n● Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and a positive learning environment.

N● Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.

N● Offer school counselling support by addressing students' social, emotional, behavioural,

Nand academic concerns.

N● Collaborate with parents, educators,



and school leadership to support students' overall

Nwell-being and development.

N● Maintain accurate academic records and prepare student progress reports.

N● Participate actively inschool events, faculty meetings, professional development

Nprograms, and curriculum planning.

NEligibility Criteria

n● Master's Degree in Psychology (Mandatory).

N● B.Ed. is preferred.

n● Prior experience as a Psychology Teacher in a school.

N● Hands-on teaching experience with the IB or IGCSE curriculum is mandatory.

N● Experience in school counselling or student wellness programs is highly preferred.

N● Excellent classroom management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
