About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate PGT Social Studies Teacher to teach History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics to senior secondary students (Classes IX–XII, or as assigned). The ideal candidate will bring subject mastery, solid classroom management skills, and the ability to make social sciences engaging, analytical, and relevant to real-world contexts.

ey Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons in Social Studies (History, Civics, Geography, Economics) in accordance with the CBSE curriculum and syllabus timelines.
- Design lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and projects that encourage critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and current affairs awareness.
- Prepare students for board examinations (Class X/XII) with focused revision, sample papers, and exam-oriented strategies.
- Conduct regular class tests, unit tests, and periodic assessments; evaluate answer scripts and maintain accurate academic records.
- Use maps, charts, multimedia, case studies, and ICT tools to make abstract concepts (e.g., governance, economic policy, historical events) accessible and engaging.




- Encourage participation in debates, quizzes, Model United Nations (MUN), and other co-curricular activities related to Social Studies.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster an inclusive, respectful learning
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress through PTMs, report cards, and diary remarks.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, workshops, and school events as required.
- Stay updated with changes in the CBSE curriculum, NEP 2020 guidelines, and pedagogical best practices.

Educational Qualifications:

- Master's Degree (M.A.) in History / Geography / Political Science / Economics / Sociology with at least 50% marks, from a recognized university.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized institution.

Experience:

- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level, preferably under the CBSE curriculum.
- Prior experience teaching board exam classes (X/XII) will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
