Role Description The Pet Sitter role at Dog District Private Limited is a part-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad.

The Pet

Sitter will provide hands-on care for dogs in a home-style environment, including feeding, fresh water, basic grooming, and maintaining clean and safe living spaces. Daily tasks include supervising playtime, monitoring behavior and wellness, following individualized care and exercise routines, and providing comfort and companionship to each pet.

Sitter will share regular updates, photos, and short messages with pet guardians, following company guidelines for communication. Additional responsibilities may include basic house sitting duties related to the pet’s environment, coordinating drop-off and pick-up schedules, and collaborating with the team to ensure consistent, high-quality care.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Animal Care, Pet Care, and Pet Sitting, with a genuine interest in the well-being and safety of dogs.
- Clear and respectful Communication skills for interacting with pet guardians and team members, including sharing timely updates.
- Ability to manage basic House Sitting responsibilities, such as maintaining clean, organized, and secure pet areas.
- Prior experience working with pets in a professional or volunteer setting is preferred.
- Comfort with using smartphones and messaging/social apps for real-time updates.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow specific care instructions for individual pets.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
