Job Purpose

Responsible for the preventive, breakdown, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and general maintenance of production machinery and material-handling equipment in the PEB fabrication factory. The position is responsible for maintaining maximum machine availability, reducing breakdown time, and ensuring safe and uninterrupted production.

Machinery / Equipment Handled The candidate will be responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of the following equipment:

- Hydraulic Cranes
- CNC Plasma Cutting Machines
- Auto Welding / PTW Machines
- EOT (Electric Overhead Traveling) Cranes
- MIG Welding Machines
- Arc Welding Machines
- Air Compressors
- Associated electrical panels, motors, VFDs, control systems, sensors, cables, switches, and other factory utilities.

Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Maintenance
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of fabrication machinery.
- Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and restore equipment with minimum production downtime.
- Inspect and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical components.
- Check and maintain motors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, couplings, pumps, hydraulic cylinders, valves, and other machine components.
- Ensure proper functioning of CNC plasma cutting and automatic welding equipment.
- Maintain welding machines and identify faults related to power supply, control circuits, cables, cooling systems, and welding units.
- Carry out regular inspection and maintenance of hydraulic cranes and EOT cranes.

Electrical Maintenance
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical control panels, MCC panels, DBs, motors, contactors,



relays, starters, VFDs, sensors, limit switches, and control circuits.
- Diagnose electrical faults in CNC plasma cutting machines and automatic welding machines.
- Check electrical connections, cables, earthing, insulation, and power supply systems.
- Attend electrical breakdowns and ensure quick restoration of production equipment.
- Carry out routine inspection of factory lighting and electrical distribution systems.
- Support PLC/control-system troubleshooting where applicable.
- Preventive Maintenance
- Prepare and follow daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventive maintenance schedules.

Breakdown Maintenance
- Respond immediately to machine breakdowns.
- Diagnose the root cause of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic failures.
- Complete repairs safely and efficiently.
- Record breakdown details, repair time, spare parts used, and corrective action taken.
- Analyze repeated breakdowns and recommend permanent solutions.

Safety
- Follow all factory electrical, mechanical, and machine safety procedures.
- Follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures before maintenance work.
- Ensure proper use of PPE during maintenance activities.
- Check safety devices, emergency stops, limit switches, and machine guards regularly.




- Maintain safe working conditions in the maintenance area.

Required Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Relevant experience in PEB, structural steel fabrication, heavy engineering, or manufacturing industries.
- Hands-on experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance will be preferred.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and machine manuals.
- Knowledge of motors, control panels, VFDs, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery.

Preferred Experience Candidates with practical experience in PEB fabrication plants and maintenance of CNC Plasma Cutting Machines, Auto Welding/PTW Machines, EOT Cranes, Hydraulic Cranes, MIG/Arc Welding Machines, and Air Compressors will be given preference.

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
