Role Description The Pattern Maker (Foundry) is a full time, on-site role based in Kolhapur. This role involves designing and manufacturing foundry patterns for Cylinder Head Castings, ensuring dimensional accuracy, proper contours, and allowances for shell moulding, shell core, Greensand, and Nobake processes.

The Pattern

Maker will interpret technical drawings and specifications, prepare and assemble pattern components, and perform fitting and adjustments to meet stringent quality norms. Daily tasks include collaborating with engineers and production teams, inspecting patterns for defects,



maintaining pattern storage and records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in pattern design and manufacturing. The role also requires adherence to safety standards and proactive participation in maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Pattern Design and Pattern Making skills, with experience in foundry applications.
- Candidates should possess skills in Fitting and accurate assembly of pattern components for high-precision castings.
- Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for reading, modifying, and creating pattern-related drawings.
- Candidates should possess practical sewing or analogous finishing skills when working with fabric or flexible pattern materials, if applicable.
- Relevant qualifications such as a technical diploma or certificate in foundry technology, mechanical engineering, or pattern making are beneficial.
- Experience in shell moulding, shell core processes, Greensand and Nobake moulding, and diesel engine component casting is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to interpret engineering drawings, and commitment to quality and safety standards are expected.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage tasks independently in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
