Collect patient meals and beverages from the pantry as per the prescribed diet list.

Verify patient name, room/bed number, diet type, and meal items before delivery.

Deliver meals to patients on time according to the hospital meal schedule.

Follow special dietary instructions such as diabetic, liquid, soft, low-salt, or other prescribed diets.

Maintain proper food hygiene and personal cleanliness at all times.

Use clean and appropriate food trays, trolleys, and containers for patient meal delivery.

Handle food carefully to prevent contamination, spillage, or mix-ups.

Collect used trays and utensils from patient rooms and return them to the pantry.

Maintain cleanliness of food delivery trolleys and pantry-related equipment.

Communicate politely with patients, attendants, nurses, and hospital staff.

Immediately report incorrect meals, missing items, spills, complaints, or other issues to the supervisor.





Follow all hospital infection-control, food-safety, and workplace-safety procedures.

Assist the pantry team with basic cleaning, stocking, and other assigned duties.

Requirements

Minimum education: 10th pass preferred.

Previous experience in a hospital, hotel, restaurant, catering, or food-service environment is preferred.

Positive communication and basic interpersonal skills.

Physically fit and able to stand/walk for extended periods.

Must maintain personal hygiene and a clean uniform.

Ability to follow instructions accurately, especially patient dietary requirements.

Polite, patient, responsible, and service-oriented attitude.
