Role Description The Packaging Designer role at Printwell Offset is a full-time, in office position based in Rajkot. In this role, the individual will design packaging concepts and structures for folding cartons, rigid boxes, corrugated cartons, and other custom packaging solutions, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and product requirements. Day-to-day tasks include creating visual layouts, selecting materials and finishes, preparing print-ready files, and collaborating with production teams to ensure feasibility and quality.

The Packaging

Designer will work closely with sales, marketing,



and clients to understand project briefs, present design options, and refine designs based on feedback. The role also involves staying updated on packaging trends, sustainability considerations, and printing technologies to enhance design outcomes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess Graphic Design skills, including proficiency in industry-standard design software (CorelDRAW).
- Candidates should possess strong Packaging Design skills, with experience in structural design and visual layouts for cartons and boxes.
- Candidates should possess Branding skills, including the ability to translate brand identity into cohesive packaging concepts.
- Candidates should possess Product Design skills, with an understanding of ergonomics, functionality, and user experience in packaging.
- Candidates should possess Typography skills, with a focus on legible, appealing type treatments suitable for packaging and print.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Attention to detail, ability to interpret client briefs, and strong visual communication skills.
- Experience working with printing processes, color management, dielines, and pre-press preparation is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Rajkot, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
