We are seeking a meticulous, proactive, and reliable Operation Theatre (OT) Assistant to join our surgical team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing the surgical workplace, sterilizing equipment, and assisting surgeons and nurses before, during, and after surgical procedures. The ideal candidate ensures strict adherence to hygiene protocols, maintains a calm demeanor under pressure, and works efficiently to guarantee maximum safety for patients during surgery.

Roles and Responsibilities

- OT Preparation: Set up the operation theatre with required surgical instruments, sterile drapes, solutions, and operational medical equipment before each surgery.
- Sterilization & Infection Control: Clean, sterilize, and arrange surgical instruments using autoclaves and other sterilization equipment; strictly enforce infection control protocols.
- Surgical Assistance: Pass sterile instruments, sponges, and other surgical components to surgeons and scrub nurses during operative procedures.
- Patient Handling:



Assist in safely transporting patients to and from the recovery room, positioning them correctly on the operating table, and ensuring comfort and safety.
- Equipment Maintenance: Monitor, test, and maintain OT equipment (such as surgical lights, cautery machines, suction units, and anesthesia monitors) to ensure they function properly.
- Specimen Management: Safely handle, label, and document tissue samples or fluids collected during surgery and ensure proper transfer to the pathology lab.
- Post-Operative Cleanup: Clean, disinfect, and restock the operating room immediately following surgery to prepare it for the next scheduled procedure.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate stock count of surgical disposables, medications, and equipment, reporting shortages promptly

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
