Oracle IMCS Support Engineer

Samay Consulting is hiring an Oracle Retail Invoice Matching (IMCS) Support Engineer to join our team full time.

Location: Remote, India

Shift: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST

Availability: Immediate joiners or candidates on notice of 30 days or less

About the Role

You will support a production Oracle IMCS environment as part of a dedicated sustainment squad, covering nightly batch operations, incident resolution, and custom extension support. This is a hands-on technical role with direct engagement with onshore engineering teams and Oracle Support.

What You Will Do

- Monitor both standard and custom nightly batch runs through to successful completion within defined SLA readiness times
- Resolve incidents across core IMCS (Oracle SaaS) batch execution
- Support custom batch jobs and client-owned inbound and outbound services integrated with IMCS
- Perform root cause analysis on custom job failures and drive resolution




- Raise and drive Oracle Service Requests to closure for out-of-the-box batch issues
- Perform daily system and database health checks, including job status, queue backlogs, tablespace usage, and long running sessions
- Respond to PagerDuty alerts and participate in an on-call rotation
- Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge documentation
- Take knowledge transfer on new functionality and support it independently within two weeks of deployment

What You Bring
- Strong hands-on Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience with Oracle Retail Invoice Matching (IMCS or ReIM) in a production support capacity
- POM batch scheduling and APEX deployments

Nice to Have
- Java and Spring Boot for service-level troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of AWS
- Familiarity with FTS and ORDS
- Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code
