Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced

Oracle RPAS Functional Consultant with strong expertise in

Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server (RPAS)

,

PL/SQL

,

Java

, and

Unix Shell Scripting

. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Oracle Retail solutions, application support, and production maintenance, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with AWS, CI/CD tools, and software configuration management will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and support Oracle RPAS applications across multiple retail modules.

- Develop and optimize PL/SQL programs, Java components, and Unix Shell scripts.

- Perform application support, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production maintenance.

- Gather business requirements and prepare High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.

- Design, develop, test, and deploy Oracle RPAS enhancements and customizations.

- Write and execute unit test cases to ensure application quality and reliability.

- Monitor scheduled jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure successful execution.

- Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality retail solutions.





- Manage source code and deployments using version control and CI/CD tools.

- Work within Linux environments for application development and support.

Must-Have Skills

- 4 6 years of IT experience with robust hands-on expertise in Oracle RPAS.

- Extensive experience working across Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server modules.

- Strong programming skills in PL/SQL, Java, and Unix Shell Scripting.

- Experience in application support, production support, and maintenance activities.

- Knowledge of job schedulers and workload automation tools.

- Strong understanding of the Retail domain and integration with enterprise applications.

- Experience with Software Configuration Management tools such as Git, SVN, Bitbucket, or TFS.

- Experience in requirement gathering, business analysis, HLD, and LLD preparation.

- Hands-on experience in writing and executing unit test cases.

- Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.

- Solid analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

- AWS Cloud knowledge.

- Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD automation.

- Hands-on experience with Git version control.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and deployment automation.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
