Position: Compensation & Benefits Technical Specialist (Oracle HCM)

Job Summary

Location: Hyderabad

Position Type: Full-time, onsite. No hybrid work option.

Functional Reporting: Global Head of HR Technology

Job Purpose The Oracle Compensation & Benefits Functional Specialist is responsible for the administration, configuration, support and continuous improvement of Oracle Fusion HCM Compensation and Benefits. The role ensures compensation and benefits processes are accurately configured, globally consistent where appropriate, compliant with business requirements and effectively supported through Oracle HCM. Working closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, business stakeholders, vendors and the broader HR Technology team, the role supports compensation cycles, eligibility, plans, programs, data quality, reporting, testing, releases and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Compensation & Benefits Administration

- Administer, configure and maintain Oracle Fusion HCM Compensation and Benefits
- Manage compensation plans, programs, eligibility rules, components, rates, budgets and related configuration
- Maintain benefits-related configuration and ensure alignment with approved global and local requirements
- Ensure configuration is consistent, controlled and appropriately documented

Compensation & Benefits Support

- Provide functional support to HR, managers and employees for compensation and benefits processes
- Troubleshoot configuration and transaction issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams and vendors
- Support users through compensation and benefits cycles and maintain support documentation

Data & Reporting

- Maintain the quality and integrity of compensation and benefits data
- Support data audits, reconciliation and remediation activities




- Develop and maintain compensation and benefits reporting, dashboards and ad-hoc analysis

Business Process Improvement

- Analyse compensation and benefits requirements and recommend process and system improvements
- Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and standardise processes
- Prepare functional specifications and solution documentation

Projects & Release Management

- Support compensation and benefits implementations, enhancements and transformation initiatives
- Participate in requirements gathering, configuration, testing, UAT and deployment
- Assess Oracle quarterly releases for compensation and benefits impact and support regression testing

Governance & Compliance

- Ensure compensation and benefits processes comply with approved policies, governance standards and applicable requirements
- Maintain configuration workbooks, process documentation and test evidence
- Support audits by providing system evidence and documentation

Requirements: education, competencies & skills

- Must have about 10-12 years of experience in similar role
- Oracle HCM Compensation and/or Perks module expertise
- Strong understanding of global reward practices
- Experience with compensation cycles and workforce planning
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to translate policy into system configuration
