Role & responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
- Conduct objective and subjective refraction.
- Diagnose refractive errors such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia.
- Screen patients for eye diseases such as cataract, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.
- Prescribe spectacles, contact lenses, and low-vision aids.
- Assist ophthalmologists with pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-up.
Preferred candidate profile
- B-Optometry/D-Optometry with 1-2 years of experience in working as optometrist
