Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Operations Manager to oversee and streamline end-to-end operations at the Head Office for our Building Material business. The ideal candidate should have strong operational management skills, hands-on experience in SAP (B1/MM/SD/PP preferred), and exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, dispatch, and coordination with sales and plant teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day operations related to procurement, inventory, logistics, dispatch, and supply chain activities.

- Handle inter-departmental coordination and resolve operational issues proactively, to ensure smooth operational flow.

- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability across locations.

- Ensure timely processing of purchase orders, material receipts, stock transfers, and dispatches through SAP.

- Analyze operational data and generate SAP-based operational dashboards and reports for management review.

- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve service levels.





- Track order fulfilment and ensure adherence to delivery timelines.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, statutory requirements, and audit processes.

- Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning.

- Operate and monitor SAP transactions related to inventory, procurement, dispatch, and sales coordination.

- Manage system upgrades, reports, and process improvements through SAP.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 9-15 years of relevant experience in the Building Material / Wood Panel / Plywood / MDF / Laminates industry.

- Strong working knowledge of SAP (MM / SD / PP modules) is mandatory.

- Good understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, warehouse operations, and dispatch management.

- Excellent analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

- Solid communication and team management abilities.

- Proficient in MS Excel and operational reporting.
