Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Lead and manage all operations of Assembly and Paint Shop to achieve production targets with optimal quality and efficiency.

- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of tractors as per customer demand.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards (ISO) and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, 5S).
- Oversee paint shop operations including surface preparation, primer application, topcoat finishing, and quality inspection.
- Manage assembly line operations including sub-assembly, main assembly, testing, and final inspection of tractors.
- Drive cost optimization through waste reduction, process improvements, and efficient resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations; promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members; conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Stores, Maintenance, Engineering) for smooth operations.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) - productivity, quality, downtime, and cost metrics.

- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all assembly and paint shop processes.
- Drive digitalization initiatives and support Industry 4.0 implementation in shop floor operations.
- Participate in recent product development and ensure smooth production ramp-up of new tractor models.

Education Qualification

Bachelors of Technology in Production Engg.; Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical; Bachelor of Engineering in Production Engg.; Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical; MBA; Bachelors of Technology

General Experience

15-20 years of experience in Assembly and Paint Shop operations in manufacturing industry, with minimum 5 years in leadership role managing large teams.
