Job Title: OT Nurse

Department: Operation Theatre

Location: Vidhai Birthing Centre and Hospital, Mylapore, Chennai

Prepare and maintain sterile OT setting for LSCS and gynae surgical procedures

Assist obstetricians and anesthetists during caesarean sections and other surgeries

Ensure availability, sterilization, and proper functioning of surgical instruments and equipment

Maintain accurate records of surgical counts (instruments, swabs, needles) before and after procedures

Monitor maternal and neonatal vitals, providing immediate pre-op and post-op care

Coordinate with NICU/nursing staff for newborn handover immediately after delivery

Handle and dispose of biomedical waste as per hospital and statutory guidelines

Ensure OT readiness round-the-clock for emergency obstetric cases

Maintain OT stock levels and raise indents for consumables/equipment as needed

Qualification: GNM/B.Sc Nursing with OT/Labour Room experience preferred; valid nursing council registration required

Salary: As per industry standards
