Description

FUSO Consulting Services team serves as the organization's internal consulting function, partnering with business leaders to improve end-to-end business processes, drive operational excellence, and deliver sustainable performance improvements.

The team focuses on analyzing, redesigning, and optimizing business processes across the enterprise to improve efficiency, effectiveness, customer experience, quality, and cost performance. Working closely with business stakeholders, the team leads process transformation initiatives, supports strategic programs, establishes governance frameworks, and ensures realization of business benefits.

This role provides an opportunity to influence enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives, facilitate organizational transformation, and drive measurable business outcomes through structured problem solving, process excellence methodologies, and effective stakeholder engagement.

Organization The Internal Consulting & Business Excellence team is a cross-functional team responsible for driving business performance improvement, strategic project delivery, project governance, and operational excellence across all business functions.

The team collaborates closely with stakeholders from Sales & Marketing, Customer Service / After Sales, Product Management, Manufacturing & Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, IT & Digital, Corporate Functions, etc

Team members act as trusted advisors to business leaders and support initiatives from strategy development through implementation and value realization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Process Excellence & Transformation

- Lead enterprise-wide business process improvement and transformation initiatives.
- Analyze current-state business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Design future-state processes that improve operational efficiency, customer experience, compliance, and business performance.
- Facilitate process mapping, process diagnostics, value stream mapping, and root-cause analysis workshops.
- Develop process standards, governance frameworks, and operating procedures.




- Drive standardization, simplification, and harmonization of processes across business functions.
- Support implementation of process changes and monitor adoption and effectiveness.

2. Internal Consulting & Problem Solving

- Partner with business leaders to address operational and organizational challenges through a structured consulting approach.
- Conduct process and operational assessments to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Apply data-driven analysis and benchmarking to develop recommendations.
- Support business case development, value estimation, and implementation planning.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on process improvements and transformation priorities.

3. Lean, Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

- Lead Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to remove waste, reduce process variation, and improve process capability.
- Establish sustainable continuous improvement practices and governance mechanisms.
- Coach business teams on process improvement methodologies and problem-solving techniques.
- Promote a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.

4. Transformation Project Delivery

- Lead process transformation projects from assessment through implementation and stabilization.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, risks, and success metrics.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of process improvement initiatives.
- Monitor implementation progress and ensure expected business outcomes are achieved.
- Support organizational change management and stakeholder adoption activities.

5. Process Governance & Performance Management

- Define and monitor process performance KPIs and operational metrics.




- Track business benefits and value realization from transformation initiatives.
- Establish process ownership and governance structures.
- Develop management dashboards and executive reports to provide process performance visibility.
- Conduct periodic process reviews and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

6. PMO & Strategic Program Support

- Support enterprise transformation programs through project governance and PMO practices.
- Maintain project and program tracking, reporting, risk management, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure alignment between strategic objectives and process improvement initiatives.
- Support leadership reviews, steering committees, and executive decision-making.

Required Qualification

Experience

- 8 -15 years of experience in Business Process Management (BPM), Operational Excellence, Internal Consulting, Continuous Improvement, Transformation, or Management Consulting.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end process improvement and process transformation initiatives.
- Strong experience in process mapping, process redesign, value stream mapping, and operating model improvement.
- Experience applying Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.
- Experience facilitating cross-functional workshops and driving stakeholder alignment.
- Experience managing business transformation projects and enterprise-wide improvement programs.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Japanese language proficiency is a plus

- Experience within automotive, manufacturing, mobility, logistics, or industrial sectors.
- Exposure to digital transformation and operating model transformation initiatives.
