Key Responsibilities

- Fill and dispense medication prescriptions: As a pharmacist, you will be responsible for accurately filling and dispensing medication prescriptions to patients based on the instructions provided by the prescribing healthcare provider.

- Provide medication information to patients: You will be expected to counsel patients on the proper use and potential side effects of prescribed medications, as well as answer any questions they may have about their treatment.

- Monitor drug interactions and allergies: It is important for a pharmacist to be vigilant in checking for potential drug interactions or allergies when filling prescriptions, to ensure patient safety and optimal treatment outcomes.

- Maintain accurate records: Keeping detailed and up-to-date records of dispensed medications, patient information,



and any consultations provided is a key aspect of the pharmacist's role to ensure accountability and compliance with regulations.

- Collaborate with healthcare team: Pharmacists often work as part of a healthcare team, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans and ensure the best possible patient care.

Required Skills And Expectations

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field

- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and pharmacy regulations

- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced setting

- Willingness to continuously update knowledge and skills in the field of pharmacy
