Key Responsibilities

Perform chemical analysis of sugarcane, juice, syrup, massecuite, sugar, molasses, bagasse, water, and effluent samples as per standard testing procedures.

Monitor key process parameters such as Brix, Pol, Purity, pH, Moisture, Ash, and Colour.

Prepare and report analytical results accurately and on time to support production decisions.

Assist in sugar recovery calculations and monitor process efficiency and losses.

Ensure compliance with product quality standards and process specifications.

Maintain laboratory records, test reports, and quality documentation.

Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and testing equipment.

Report abnormal results and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Follow Positive Laboratory Practices (GLP), safety procedures, and chemical handling guidelines.

Support statutory compliance requirements, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory.

Working knowledge of MS Excel, including data entry, formula usage, report generation, and analysis of laboratory data.
