The Nursing Educator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering educational and training programs for nursing staff. The role focuses on enhancing clinical knowledge, nursing competencies, patient safety, and adherence to hospital policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct orientation and induction programs for newly joined nursing staff.
- Conduct regular training programs, workshops, and competency-based education for nurses.
- Assess the clinical knowledge and skills of nursing staff and identify training needs.
- Develop and update nursing training materials, protocols, guidelines, and educational resources.
- Conduct competency assessments and maintain training and evaluation records.
- Provide training on infection control, patient safety, medication safety, emergency procedures, and nursing practices.
- Conduct clinical demonstrations and bedside teaching when required.




- Monitor compliance with nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate with nursing departments and clinical teams to identify educational requirements.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements.
- Assist in developing and updating nursing policies and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain documentation of attendance, competency assessments, training schedules, and evaluation reports.
- Support continuous career development and promote evidence-based nursing practices.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Assist the Nursing Head in audits, accreditation activities, and other nursing education-related activities.
