Job Purpose The Supply Planning Executive is responsible for ensuring optimal product availability for strategic key accounts through effective supply planning, inventory management, demand-supply balancing, and cross-functional collaboration. The role focuses on maintaining high service levels while optimizing inventory, production capacity, and logistics costs to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Planning

- Develop and execute supply plans aligned with demand forecasts for key accounts and Business Unit
- Balance demand, production capacity, inventory, and distribution constraints.
- Monitor inventory health and ensure optimal stock levels across warehouses and distribution centres.
- Minimize stock-outs, excess inventory, and product obsolescence.

Key Account Management

- Partner with Sales and Key Account teams to understand customer requirements, promotional plans, and service expectations.
- Ensure timely product availability for strategic customers.
- Manage replenishment plans for modern trade, organized retail, and large institutional customers.
- Maintain Fill rates > 95%

Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;)

- Participate in the monthly S&OP; cycle.
- Translate demand plans into executable supply plans.
- Identify supply risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Support scenario planning for demand fluctuations, new product launches, and promotional activities.

Cross-functional Collaboration

- Work closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Customer Service, Commercial, and Finance teams along with other Key suppliers of FG.
- Coordinate production schedules to meet customer service targets.




- Resolve supply constraints through proactive planning and communication.

Inventory & Performance Management

- Track and improve inventory turnover and fill rates.
- Analyse inventory trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize working capital.

Analytics & Reporting

- Monitor KPIs including:

- Customer Service Level (OTIF)

- Forecast Accuracy

- Inventory Days

- Stock Availability

- Line Fill Rate

- Supply Plan Adherence

- Production Plan Compliance
- Prepare management reports and business insights.

Continuous Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve planning processes through automation and data analytics.
- Support implementation of planning tools, ERP enhancements, and digital supply chain initiatives.
- Lead root cause analysis for supply disruptions and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification is preferred.

Experience

- 2-3 years of experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Production Planning, or Supply Chain.
- Experience in FMCG or beverage industries is preferred.
- Exposure to managing modern trade or strategic key accounts is highly desirable.
- Experience working with ERP systems and planning tools.
