AppSquadz Software Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a News Research Intern who is passionate about current affairs, politics, and global events. If you have strong research skills and enjoy finding accurate, credible information, this internship is for you.

Key Responsibilities

- Research breaking news and identify trending story ideas.
- Gather facts, timelines, statistics, and information from credible sources.
- Verify and fact-check information before submission.
- Prepare research briefs for the editorial and scriptwriting teams.
- Monitor news websites, government portals, and social media for emerging stories.
- Suggest unique story angles and provide background research.

Requirements

- Solid English reading and comprehension skills (Mandatory).
- Basic to good Hindi understanding (Hinglish is acceptable).
- Excellent internet research and fact-checking skills.




- Strong interest in current affairs, politics, geopolitics, business, and international affairs.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

- UPSC aspirants or students/graduates in Political Science, Journalism, Law, International Relations, or related fields.
- Familiarity with Reuters, AP, AFP, PTI, Bloomberg, BBC, The Hindu, Indian Express, PIB, and official government sources.
- Prior experience in research, journalism, or content creation is a plus.
