Meera Casting is a Rajkot-based manufacturer of engineered grey iron and ductile iron castings and machined components . We serve industries including pumps & valves, machine tools, automotive, hydraulics, gearboxes, agriculture, off-highway and general engineering.

With up-to-date foundry technology, strong quality systems and in-house inspection capabilities, we support customers from drawing development to serial production .

Role: New Product Development Manager

We are looking for an experienced NPD Manager – Foundry & Castings to lead new component development from customer drawing to production approval.

The role will involve

- Reviewing drawings, specifications and casting feasibility
- Coordinating pattern, tooling and sample development
- Developing gating, risering and casting processes
- Managing casting trials and resolving defects
- Coordinating metallurgy, quality and machining requirements
- Handling APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans and technical documentation




- Managing customer sample approvals
- Driving projects from RFQ to serial production
- Improving casting yield, quality and process efficiency

Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Production, Foundry Technology or related field
- 5+ years of experience in foundry NPD, process engineering or casting development
- Strong knowledge of grey iron and ductile iron casting
- Good understanding of gating, risering, moulding, cores and metallurgy
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T;
- Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, 8D and RCA
- Knowledge of machining and CMM inspection will be an advantage
- Experience with automatic moulding lines or no-bake foundries preferred
- Strong problem-solving and project-management skills
