Role Description The Network Engineer III is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure to support VCS’s business operations and client projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices; monitoring performance; and proactively resolving connectivity and latency issues.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support application deployments, ensuring secure and reliable access to systems, and applying best practices in network security.

The Network

Engineer III will also participate in network capacity planning,



documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives, as well as providing advanced technical support and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Administration and Network Engineering to manage and optimize complex network environments.
- Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting skills to diagnose, analyze, and resolve network performance and connectivity issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Network Security to implement, monitor, and maintain secure network configurations and policies.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Network Design to architect scalable, resilient, and efficient network solutions.
- Relevant experience with routing and switching protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, VLANs), VPNs, and firewalls.
- Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Solid documentation, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment.
